Action Man Custom
Jon customized a 12-inch articulated action man figure for the Action Man custom show in London in 2006. Celebrating the 40 year anniversary of Action Man, 40 artists around the world were invited to customize a reproduction of a 1st edition 1966 Action Man figure. The show ran from May 16-27th at Blink Gallery London. In addition to a Jon Burgerman full-body tattoo-style custom, the show had a stellar roster including Joe Ledbetter, Frank Kozik, Michael Lau, Kennyswork, Devil Robots, MAD, Huck Gee and so many more. All of the figures were auctioned for charity and sold for an amount in excess of 10,000 GBP (over $18,000 USD).
