Waggledance Letterpress Print
In 2007, Jon contributed a design to Tiny Showcase’s Letterpress Print Series. The entire run of one hundred 4.5″ x 6.5″ (plus border for framing) prints (for $25.00 each) sold out. Jon chose Greenpeace International as his artwork’s charity, so $250 dollars from the sale of his printed letterpress was donated to the organization.
The letterpress series is an ongoing Tiny Showcase project featuring artwork by their favorite silkscreen artists, poster designers and multi-layered color separation masters. Each piece from the letterpress collection is an original design that was created for the project and hand-printed in limited quantities. Providence letterpress artist Dan Wood of DWRI Letterpress creates and presses each layer of the prints into a 250gsm Somerset printmaking paper.
