Tiger Translate Beijing
On Saturday July 14th, 2007, Jon collaborated with fellow artists Jeremyville, Luke Bennett, Ben Frost, Li Qiu Qiu, Song Yang and Nie Jun at 798 Space in Beijing as part of Tiger Translate.
798 Space is a new rising, avant-garde and trendy space that hosts high-level cultural, artistic and commercial activities. It can hold more than 1000 guests with ease: 1000 square meters and up to 9 meters high structural exhibition space + 300 square meters relaxing and eating space + contemporary art book shop + film and video showing area.
Tiger Translate is Tiger Beer’s global initiative to highlight Asia’s brightest creatives and nurture collaboration with Western artists throughout a series of exhibitions, events and publications. They’ve scoured Asia to identify the visual artists, designers, musicians and photographers who are pushing the limits in their respective fields.
