Butter Loves T-shirts
In 2008, Singapore’s The Butter Factory launched its label, BUTTER LOVES, which features T-shirt artwork by Jon, Jeremyville and eBoy. UK cult designer Kate Moross was commissioned to design the BUTTER LOVES label ID.
This collection is also part of the ‘Goodbye Robertson, Hello Fullerton’ campaign, which commemorates The Butter Factory’s move from its current venue at Robertson Quay to the new space at One Fullerton at the end of the year. Butter Loves allows The Butter Factory’s customers and fans to own a piece of the club’s history in the form of a T-Shirt.
The T-Shirts were available beginning in late September at the ‘Art of the T’, an exhibition at the Containart Pavilion forming part of the Singapore Biennale 2008, which is curated by Singapore-based luxury retail company Club 21. After the exhibition ended, any remaining T-Shirts were made available at The Butter Factory’s club premises. (I got one of Jeremyville’s Stay Furry shirts at his website.)
