Bamboo Range Shirt
Jon has one t-shirt design among shirt art by Doktor A, Dalek and Tara McPherson (below) at Tokyo Toystore. The shirts are printed with the latest digital garment printers and made from 70% naturally sustainable bamboo and 30% organic cotton. Each shirt is limited to a run of 100, except for Jon’s which has a run of just 60 available. The shirts are for sale in male and female sizes for £18.95 here, among other cool tees by Kozik, MAD and The London Police.
They say fabric woven from bamboo yarn is light, almost translucent, and softer than cotton. It has a natural quality that feels like silk, but has the advantage of being machine-washable. This natural fibre is hypoallergenic, absorbent, and fast drying. It is naturally anti-bacterial and will not hold odour. Like other natural fibres, it allows the body to breathe as the fabric absorbs the perspiration away from the body.
