Little Big Planet Level Pack
Media Molecule, creators LittleBigPlanet hired Jon to create a new level pack for the game. This would be Jon’s second game track following WipEout Pure.
Edge Online had this to say:
The pack will work well with a forthcoming downloadable update to the game that will include a new tool that automatically cuts material to the shape of a sticker, allowing players to more easily create in-game objects using stickers.
“Jon Burgerman’s a good friend of Rex [Crowle, the graphic artist behind much of LBP’s original stickers and its box art],” says [Kareem] Ettouney. “He asked Jon if he could do some illustrations that we could have in the game and he just did a heap of them. They are so empowering those bits because you just stick them on the materials, cut it out, and you’ve got like a handmade character Jon Burgerman piece.”
Sounds awesome.
