Munich Wacom Doodles

Burgerman Doodling on Wacom in Munich

Jon just posted some of his Wacom portraiture from Friday’s re:Store event in Munich. These are really excellent. I haven’t seen Jon do this kind of human likeness since the Football Heroes Book of 2006. I see a nod toward that Italian-Jewish (honorary French) artist, Amedeo Modoodliani. Next time you come to America, Jon, you should live lavishly on the Bar Mitvah/MTV “My Super Sweet 16″ circuit with this Wacom trickery. (We also have Apple stores here…)

Lucky Germans (who, incidentally, are all a rather adorable lot)! Artist/designer Shue Cane (below) made the scene with her pal, Poquito. Neat how Jon’s quick digital doodle can still reference subtleties like the texture of her hat and print on her shirt. Also, there’s that cute pooch. Click here to see what some of the other doodled duos look like in 2D and 3D.
