We’re Turning on the Wayback Machine
Remember all that great old Burger ephemera we got in the mail? The process of scanning and artkiving has begun! If you want to stay current on the ancient texts, follow Doodlesplatter on Twitter. As these new/old items enter the artkive, they will default to the year of their origin. As such, you won’t see them at the top of Doodlesplatter where all good posts typically start their journey.

Uhg! I’m hoping something
better than Twitter shows
up one day and makes Twitter
a thing of the past.
I’m sensing Twitter does a
good job at diluting cool
blogs. Instead of a cool
blog post with all the cool
scans there will be no blog
post. Instead of a central
location for keeping tabs
on Burgerman goodness Twitter
steps in and we have 2
locations we have to keep
up with. Hurry up and die
Twitter.
Hey Spencer! I came across your comment while in the midst of scanning and describing about 25 pieces of Burgerman ephemera dating back to 2001. Because these articles are going to slip into the artkive in the year category from when they were created, they won’t rise to the top of the blog. So Twitter is the only way to be sure to catch this bit of back cataloging I’m doing. For instance, this shirt from 2006: http://www.doodlesplatter.com/2006/08/graniph-shirt
Rest assured EVERYTHING will be scanned and properly documented and become a permanent part of the blog. And news will continue going forward. In fact, I have something very fun planned for tomorrow morning PST. Thanks so much for reading this!
