Bag and Shirt for Build My Dreams Charity
Regenerate Clothing has launched a range of interactive limited edition organic t-shirts and bags designs with 100% of all proceeds will go towards caring for street children across Indonesia, through The Peduli Anak foundation. Build My Dreams is a project which was set up by Regenerate Clothing (UK) and Adikaka foundation (Indonesia). The project is a fundraising project to help children living on the streets of Indonesia through The Peduli Anak Foundation.
The designs have been printed by Dots Sports onto Earth Positive organic cotton bags and t-shirts and each item comes with a Posca pen so you can customise them and add your own style. All profits will go towards the Peduli Anak Foundation, which protects street kids by providing a new, happy and safe environment so that they can live and grow like any other children in the world.

“My drawing is inspired by the gooey, fluffy, malleable texture of dreams, where everything is possible yet clear and obscured at the same time. The intangible nature of subconscious dreams are explicitly linked to our imaginations, hopes and aspirations. We know they exist and have to believe that one day it may be possible to touch them.”
Open Space Tote Bag
In 2008, New York’s OPEN SPACE asked 125 artists from around the world to donate their time and talent to reducing the amount of wasted plastic bags (1,000 per family every year) by creating custom-designed tote bags. The bags were displayed and sold through OPEN SPACE from April 12th through May 3rd. 100% of the profits from the sales of the show went to the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, a New York-based organization committed to environmental education and advocacy. Jon’s tote bag is sold out.
OPEN SPACE was started by Kalene Rivers and Daniel Weise to combine their shared passions for art, culture and design. The space is home to thundercut, an art and design studio, SHERBERT Magazine, an independently published art and literature magazine, a gallery featuring the works of artists they find inspiring, and an event space where they can host events they find important and interesting.
Pinkcess Shopping Bag
In August of 2008, Singapore’s Dooperdoo ran a sale that offered a bonus artist tote bag with the purchase of three t-shirts. Jon has a handful of Dooperdoo designs. Now you can get the bag straight from Jon sans shirts for £10 UK and £15 non-UK including postage. The bag is made and printed in Singapore by Dooperdoo and is approximately 330×380x70mm. Reusable tote bags are (literally) the new canvas.
Greengoon Rip Curl European Collection
Jon designed a T-shirt, hoodie, cap, backpack, surfboard, snowboard and ski, surf and snowgear for Rip Curl Europe. All of the pieces in his summer and winter collections were made out of organic and recycled materials and have a unique Burgerman aesthetic plus a personal hangtag sticker with the Greengoon on it. Greengoon is Jon’s imaginary green friend that eats worms and recycles: “a classic Jon Burgerman character that fits perfectly in the Rip Curl Planet framework.” This gear is so awesome, it almost makes me want to be sporty. Pigbit Totebag
In 2007, Jon made this Pigbag totebag. Pigbit is a half-rabbit/half-pig hybrid creature. Not sure how many were made or who/what for, but her gave one away as part of a contest here.
Doodlesplat Messenger Bag
In 2006, Jon produced a stunning messenger bag that bears the same name as this humble blogography. Doodlesplat is a cord-lined courier (or messenger as we say in the US) style bag with its front flap screen-printed with a Doodlesplat. Flying Cat Tote Bag
Another artifact from the Flying Cat period, these “super lovely” tote bags featured a double-lined interior with a zipper pocket, and they came with a print.
sketchel
Jon participated in Jeremyville’s sketchel project. sketchel is the concept and design of Jeremyville and Megan Mair. They invited great artists from around the world to create one-off sketchels, as a part of 2005’s Semi Permanent Design Conference presented by Design is Kinky. The results are high quality artist-customized heavy duty vinyl bags with screen printed canvas inserts. The bags are approx 38 cm wide, 34 cm high, 8 cm deep with an extendable strap with buckle and metal eyelets. They are lined with black vinyl and nylon webbing all around, including on the flap to conceal the edge of the canvas panel. There are two side pockets for mobile phone/gadgets and a side silver buckle to hang keys from. The front flap is secured with metal magnetic clasps, and there is double stitching to make it very durable and sturdy. Each bag is limited to 100 pieces worldwide.
