Cute and Dangerous Live Painting
I didn’t make it down the coast for Cute & Dangerous, but thanks to the fast-acting pill known as Flickr, I feel (almost) like I was there. This gig looked like so much fun with a host of talented artists, live drawing by Jon and Luke Feldman, and the appearance of the Zippercut girls. Looks like art was selling too; I can spot some red dots on Jon’s mini-canvases. Nice! All the following photos are courtesy of Leslie Levings (who had Beastlies on display) and Zippercut (who brought a little Japan to the OC). Cute and Dangerous
Jon will be coming to Laguna Beach, CA on June 12th, 2009 for a group show and live painting at [seven-degrees]. Entitled Cute and Dangerous, the event runs from 8PM-1AM. Cute and Dangerous is a global collaboration of sixteen artists who have come together to showcase their own adaptation of edgy, modern art. The event will feature live paintings, plush toys, videos, sculptures, designer toys, illustrations, prints and more. A limited quantity of pieces will be available for purchase at the show.
