Posse Spotting: Tilburg, Netherlands
Emo the rabbit is the first animal to officially join our posse. (Well, second, technically, to Bailey who lives at Posse HQ.) Emo is a black beauty with one ear down. She lives in the Netherlands with Jeps and Evelien, who play music as Darker. Regarding Emo, they write: “She loves carrots and JB’s art (we know as she still hasn’t eaten the artwork).” Incidentally, it’s not just the rabbit who knows how to trick out her crib: Jeps and Evelien have a GREAT collection of framed art and toys by Jon. Amanda Visell x Jon Burgerman Collaboration
Doodlesplatter has it on good authority (*cough* twitter stalker) that Jon is collaborating with Amanda Visell on an forthcoming toy. The toy is in incubation at the Switcheroo Workshop, which is kind of like Santa’s workshop except it’s filled with collectible toys from cool artists, and Jewish kids can get them too. No word on the material they’re working with (Switcheroo has done plush, metal and more), but Amanda mentioned that the challenge (and draw) of the project is to create something faithful to Jon’s unique linework. Word on the street is that it’s going to be a “2D figure.” Add this to the FullyVisual metal piece and the upcoming Jamungo Bud for an exciting new trilogy of toys. Stay tuned!

The posse has touched down in Oaktown. There’s a lot of awesomeness in this montage. Straight from the center, we’ve got a little lesson in local linguistics. On the top and right periphery, two great stickers by GATS. Finally, in the lower right-hand corner, someone has shared the truism that “Sherilyn Fenn was -by far- the hottest chick on Twin Peaks.” Hella true indeed. I mean, her closest competition was a corpse. Something tells me the posse is not done with The Bay Area…
